We want cricket to be England and Wales' most inclusive team sport

We're inviting everyone to reflect on what cricket stands for.
Every voice will help shape a new set of values that guide our sport and the culture that gives life to the game.

The Big Cricket Conversation is our chance to chat honestly about where cricket is today and where it could be tomorrow. Whether a player, fan, volunteer, employee, a member of the local community, or someone who doesn’t currently feel the game is for them, we invite you to get involved. Let’s shape our future together.

Have YOUR say on the culture of the game.

If you require assistance completing the survey please contact raisingthegame@ecb.co.uk and a member of our team will be in touch to assist you.

Have your say on the culture of the game

What do values have to do with cricket?

In practical terms, these game-wide values will guide how we work, play and make decisions together on and off the field. Ultimately, these values will help us shape the behaviours, actions and attitudes within the game that are needed to create a more inclusive culture.

The conversation so far

People across England and Wales have helped shape the themes of this survey through focus groups, workshops, and visits to local clubs. Honest chats, big questions, and open dialogues with people from underrepresented groups, senior leaders, the general public, and experts kicked off this discussion. Now it’s time for YOU to have your say.

Thank you for being part of The Big Cricket Conversation.

We’d love you to share this page with your friends, family and community to help us hear from as many voices as possible.

With a range of perspectives on the culture we need to keep and create, we can shape a more inclusive future. Watch out for updates on the final recommendations shaped for the game, by the game.
